このたび、初個展開催の運びとなりました。
私はこれまで表現という分野において、様々な機会に恵まれて参りました。かつてはクラシック音楽で再現芸術の世界を学び、プロダクトデザインでは用と美、そして立体を学び、自分なりの表現方法を試みてきました。
近年は、自発的に制作する面白さに目覚め、また幼い頃より関心のある日本画や浮世絵のフラット感、ピクトグラム（絵文字）から多くのインスピレーションを受け、平面作品制作に表現の場をシフトしつつあります。今回の個展では、人物を中心に約20点を出品します。
音楽から立体、そして平面へと表現の分野を流れゆく“スズキマスヲ”の世界をぜひご覧下さい。

I am pleased to announce my first solo exhibition.
I have enjoyed opportunities to express myself in different areas in the past. I have learned the world of representational art through classical music, and beauty in utility and three-dimensional art in product designing, trying my own ways of expression.
In recent years, I have been attracted to the joy of creation. Inspired by pictograms as well as the flatness of Nihonga (Japanese-style paintings) and Ukiyo-e (one of the main artistic genres of Japanese colored woodblock prints and paintings) which I have been interested in since I was a child, my focus is shifting to creation of two-dimensional art expressing flatness. 20 works and over will be displayed at this exhibition, many of which are portraits.
I hope that you enjoy the world of “Masuwo Suzuki” passing through different forms of art; from music, three dimensions and then to two dimensions.
