2006 FIFA World Cup/Japan vs. Australia [Sports]
昨日のサッカーFIFAワールドカップ（ドイツ大会）日本VSオーストラリア戦、私はテレビ観戦してました。家の周りでも応援する人たちの声がよく聞こえて来て、なんだか不思議な一体感を感じることに。結果は残念でしたね…。でも頑張っている選手の姿って美しいなあ〜、としみじみ。
ところで、こういうスポーツの大会等で新しく知る国や地域の名前というのが結構あるものなんですね。
今回の試合開催地カイザースラウテルン（Kauserslautern）や参加国のトリニダード・トバゴ（Republic of Trinidad and Tobago）、まだまだ出てきそうですが一度聞くと結構耳に残る名前。音声的にパンチが効いてます…（笑）。ちょっと言いづらそうな名前なので早口言葉みたく３回づつ復唱した私。つくづく、世界って広い…。
I watched a FIFA World Cup Japan VS Australia match on the television last night. (Japan lost~!) By the way, whenever such a tournament take place, I learn the new name of the country and the area. For example..., "Kauserslautern", "Republic of Trinidad and Tobago" and so on. They are a little difficult to pronounce for me, so I tried to say 3 times like tongue twister~.
