The Star Festival / 七夕 [Life]
今日は七夕。July 7th is "Tanabata", the Star Festival.
あいにくの曇り空で、天の川は拝めそうにない…ので、たまたま見かけた飛行機雲をパチリ。

Unfortunately, it is a cloudy sky, so that I don't seem to look at the Milky Way.
So I took a picture of contrail which I saw by chance. |
人々は色とりどりの短冊に願い事を書き、それを笹に飾りつける日でもあります。

People write their wishes on colorful strips of papers called "Tanzaku" and tie them to bamboo trees to decorate them.
