Traditional Design at Ōme Taisai (Part2) [Art&Design]
I'd like to focus on the fashion of Ōme Taisai this time.

Traditional Costumes at the Japanese Festival

The festive costume was very interesting as well as the floats, because clothes were different in each town. For example, design, pattern, color, and so on.
|
Especially, this design of happi coat caught my eye. |
|
When I saw their feet..., what a nice tabi! Cool!! |
And then, pouches were various, too...

I wondered to see the pouch's hook which has Otafuku's face. Otafuku (or Okame) is one of the Japanese traditional masks.
I admire the ancestor's works again.
